What a fantastic Spring term we have had!
It’s been a busy and exciting three months, packed with events and achievements that we are incredibly proud of.
In January, two of our students Ava and Mila represented IMA at Samurai’s annual Jersey tournament. Both girls showed incredible spirit, sportsmanship and came home with medals.
We also had our in-class and public gradings, where everyone demonstrated their hard work and progress. It has been wonderful to see so many of our students achieving new belts, and reaching important milestones in their training
New classes have started this term too. Miss Webber has a new public class at Talbot View Community Center in Poole, and Mr Denny now has a public class in Wool. So students have a wider choice of classes to attend, and we have one running every single day of the week!
Talking of new, we now have our own embroidered IMA hoodies available.
We were honoured to host a special Masterclass, led by our very own TKD World Champion Mr Benigni. This was a truly inspiring experience for everyone involved.
Our holiday camps continue to be popular, and are a chance for students to get lots of extra practice in, as well as make new friends from other classes. Our next camp is Monday 30th March – Thursday April 2nd at Sunninghill Prep School in Dorchester.
Looking ahead, there is much to be excited about in the Summer Term. We will be hosting our very first two-night camp at Charisworth Farm on Thursday 28th May – Saturday 30th May, for children aged 7+ A fantastic opportunity for students to train, bond, and create lasting memories. We also have our own Integrity tournament coming up on Sunday May 10th at Charlton Marshall. This is free to enter for 4-6 year olds. The tournament will feature a new event “The Flying Kick”. We can’t wait to see students take on this exciting challenge
Finally we would like to wish all of our students and their families a wonderful and restful Easter holiday. Thank you for your continued support – we look forward to welcoming everyone back to classes in April
